Safari Itinerary
On arrival you will be welcomed by the company driver guide, we shall set off to Jinja. En-route to Jinja, you will visit Sezibwa Falls and go through the huge Mabira Forest to Jinja town for lunch. After lunch we tour around Jinja town which also boasts of a vibrant night life. Retire to your hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Kingfisher lodge/Sun set Lodge Jinja.

The highlight of the day will be boarding a boat and visit the source of the Nile.Other activities of choice include, the memorable whitewater rafting adventure downstream the Itanda falls,bunjee jumping, horseback riding to mention but a few. We later retire to our lodge. Dinner and overnight as above.

After your early morning breakfast, we shall drive to Kidepo valley national park. Kidepo is one of the vast national parks a habitat to over 475 species of birds a total second only to queen Elizabeth N.park. It boasts of the largest number of wild ostriches and great game including the big 5 and a variety of monkeys. Dinner and overnight at Kidepo valley lodge/Zebra safari lodge.

After breakfast, we head for a morning game driver in search of the early risers. We will return in time for lunch and later we can head for a boat ride at Lake Bisina the home of one of the most sought after birds” the fox weaver”. Dinner and overnight as above.

After our morning breakfast, we shall drive through the park and head to the Karamajong community and have a village walk as we interact with these interesting people with a unique culture and we will learn about their way of life and enjoy some entertainment from them. We will return later at the lodge and have a relaxed evening. Dinner and overnight as above.

FromKidepo, we shall have our morning breakfast and we shall drive through Lira District and we shall visit the Nyero rock paintings which also speak a lot about the culture of the Land and the norms of the Lugbara people. Later will we will drive through Lira town and return to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at African Hotel/ Fare way Hotel.

After our morning breakfast, we will tour Kampala city, and we will visit places of interest that include: Uganda Museum, Gadaffi Mosque (whose high tower commands the view of the whole of Kampala), Buganda Kingdom Parliament, Kasubi Tombs for Buganda Royals, the Torturing Chambers of Idd Amin and Uganda Martyrs Shrine at Namugongo time allowing. Kampala city tour is a no miss when you visit Uganda.Lunch will be in the city. Dinner and overnight as above.

After our breakfast, We shall drive to Murchison Falls N.Park. Lunch en-route in Masindi town. After lunch we shall head to the park via the kichumbanyobo gate.The park is well known for the spectacular Murchison falls, where the world’s longest river detonates fervently through the tapered crevice in the rift valley escarpment to thrust into a foaming pool 43m below. Here you will see the magnificent top of the falls and where it is believed to be raining all day throughout the year and also forming the rain bow. Dinner and overnight Murchison river lodge/ Sambiya river lodge/Bwana tembo camp.

We will have our earlymorning breakfast and head for a game drive for the early risers. We will see animals like the baboons, Elephants,giraffes,water bucks,bush bucks,kobs,buffaloes, hyenas, lions to mention but a few. Avariety of savannah birds like the secretary bird, red-necked falcon, Heuglin’s francolin,Denham’s bustard,Senegal thick-knee, Egyptian plover,Rock pranticole, Black-headed plover, African skimmer and many others will be sighted. Return in time for lunch and after you head for a boat trip on the Albert Nile to the bottom of the falls. Expect to see animals like Hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards, water bucks, and a wide variety of bird species. You will also reach the “devil’s cauldron” where you will be able to see clearly the majestic Murchison falls.Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After our early morning Breakfast, we head for a game drive in search of the early risers as we proceed to Fort portal tourism city. Lunch will be on the way. Activities in this historical city include a visit to the Karuzika royal palace and learn one or two things about the Batooro culture, astragamatesasragasitesamabereganyinamwiru), to mention but a few.Dinner and overnight at Dutchess hotel/ Rwenzori guest house/ Kalitusi nature resort.

After our early morning breakfast, we drive to Mahoma soothing falls. This will be a full day hike passing the crater lakes, waterfalls and the hot springs. We retire in the evening for our dinner and overnight at Isunga lodge/ Kibale forest lodge.

If you’re a primatologist, then you are in the right place! Early in the morning you will go in search of the chimpanzees. This is a particularly alluring experience to nature lovers, for the excellent chimp trekking and birding experience it provides. Kibaale Forest has probably the highest concentration of primates in East Africa with about 13 different primate species including chimpanzees, Vervet, red-tailed L’Hoest and blue monkeys. Later we will head will head for an afternoon bigodi swamp walk where we will interact with the local people and learn a few things about them. Dinner and overnight at Kibale guest cottages/ chimpanzee guest house.

After our early morning breakfast, we shall drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP). En- route, we tour a part of the Uganda countryside that is unforgettable. Lunch will be on the way. After arriving at your camp in QENP you may do an evening game drive or relax at the lodge after check in. Dinner and overnight at Queen Bush lodge/Engiri Lodge/Tembo safari camp

After our early morning breakfast, we shall head for a game drive in the park for the early risers. QENP is a park with diverse ecosystems, home to a variety of mammals like Elephants, buffaloes, impalas, kobs, bush bucks, water bucks, leopards and many more and it is one of Uganda's oldest and most exciting parks. We will return in time for lunch and after lunch we head for a boat launch at the Kazinga Channel where it is believed to have the highest concentration of Hippos in the world. A number of other wild animals will be sighted and a great bird life will be witnessed here too. Dinner and overnight as above.

After our morning breakfast, we shall head to Mgahinga N. Park in Kisoro district. Lunch will be en-route. If we arrive early, we may do a coffee taste and tour along the bunagana border of DR Congo and Uganda. It’s an interesting tour where we will learn about the local production of tasty coffee. Later we retire to our lodge. Dinner and overnight Mondi Hotel/ Travellers hotel/ tourist hotel.

After our morning breakfast, we shall head to the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers about the do’s and don’ts when you encounter mountain gorillas. You will then proceed for the memorable adventure hiking through the mountainous thick forest, an activity that may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the primates. You will meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour, then descend to the park headquarters thereafter to your Lodge for lunch and relaxation. Dinner overnight as above.

After our early morning breakfast, we set off to lake Bunyonyi via the Echuya forest for an experience with the “Pygymies” the Batwa. Lake “Bunyonyi” is locally translated as "a place of little birds"; and it offers refreshing experiences ranging from canoeing, swimming, and bird watching. A part of the day can be spent swimming in the lake as the water in the lake is free of bilharzia. The lake lies in the valleys of the Kigezi highlands with a number of terraced hills adding to the scenic beauty of this popular lake. After our morning breakfast, we aboard the canoe and visit a number of islands that dot this beautiful lake, our highlight being the punishment island where long ago pregnant teenage girls would be abandoned to their death. Later we return in time for our lunch and after lunch we drive to Lake MburoN.Park in Mbarara district. We will arrive in time to check in at our lodge for our rest. Dinner and overnight at Rwakobo rock camp/ Leopard hill camp

Lake Mburo boasts of animals like Zebras, bushbucks, antelopes, warthogs, baboons, varvet monkeys to mention but a few. Later we set off to Entebbe with lunch en-route at the equator, a photo opportunity and to watch the famous water experiment and craft shopping. Later we proceed to Entebbe airport for our evening return flight.
