Safari Itinerary
Upon your arrival at the airport, the guide will meet you and you will be taken to your booked lodge in Kampala and relax for the rest of the day, as you prepare to start your safari the next day. You can opt for a small city tour depending on the time of arrival. Dinner and overnight Red chilli (Budget)/Hotel Africana*mid-range)/ Sheraton Hotel(Mid-Luxe)

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park (3 Hours’ drive) with a stop at the equator for photographs. Expect en route game viewing with animals such as Zebra, Impala, and Eland and other Savannah species and birds like African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike, and so on. After lunch, take an afternoon Boat trip on Lake Mburo to see hippos, crocodiles, and variety of bird species including the rare shoebill. Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo rest camp(budget)/Rwakobo rock(Mid reange) Mihingo lodge (Luxury)

Wake up early for morning game drive to catch up with early risers returning from their hide outs, later return to the lodge for full breakfast and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National park with en-route game viewing. The journey goes through beautiful views of Kigezi Hills, “the Switzerland of Africa”, have lunch en-route and relax in the evening as we wait for dinner.Dinner and overnight Bwindi view bandas(budget)/Bakiga lodge( Mid-luxe) Gorilla forest camp (Luxury)

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters (with packed lunch and water) for briefing before setting off to the forest in search for the gorillas. Time taken searching for these humble giant apes is unpredictable. However, it ranges between 2-8 hours depending on their movement. The thrill of encountering these giant primates is breath taking. Spend an hour with them and later return to the lodge. You may opt to relax at the lodge in the evening or go for a community walk for the Batwa(Pygmy) experience.Dinner and overnight as above.

Have breakfast early morning and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park with lots of game viewing en-route, including tree-climbing lions in Ishasha sector. Relax after lunch at your lodge of choice, and later go for an evening game drive as you catch the sunset (optional). Dinner and overnight at Mweya hostel (budget)/Simba rest camp (Mid range) Mweya safari camp (Luxury)

After your morning breakfast, go for a game drive and catch up with the early risers, and predators trying to get back to their hide outs. Return for lunch at the Lodge, later go for an afternoon boat launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, famous for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa, alongside other animals like Buffaloes, and huge crocodiles basking on the shores, as well as 611 bird species. Dinner and over night as above.

After the morning breakfast, head to Kyamburao gorge “the valley of apes” for chimp trekking. Expect other primates too like the Mangabeys, colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, bush babies baboons and many more not to mention a variety of forest and savannah bird species. Later proceed to Fort portal the tourism city with lunch en-route and visit the mahoma soothing falls which is an experience not to miss. Have breakfast and connect to Murchison falls National Park, arrive by afternoon, have lunch and drive direct to the top of the falls where the park derives its name. Here you will see the calm Nile forcing itself through a narrow gorge of 7 meters wide to fall a distance of about 150 ft down producing a thunderous roar of whitewater- incredible scenery. Dinner and overnight at Red Chilli camp( Budget)/ Murchison river lodge( Mid-luxe) Paraa safari lodge (Luxury)

After an early morning breakfast( or opt packed breakfast) head for a game drive before dawn to catch up with predators and early risers. Expect animals such as jackals, Lions, Leopards, spotted hyenas, giraffe, antelope, elephant, Buffaloes, Uganda kob and many more. You will retire from the game drive for lunch and then in the afternoon we go for a Boat ride on the Victoria Nile. The boat trip will take you to the bottom of the falls where you will view animals like the buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of water birds like fish eagles and rare shoebills and many more. Dinner and over night as above.

Wake up so early and have breakfast and then transfer to Jinja were you will arrive in time for lunch but you will have a stopover at the Zziwa Rhino sanctuary the only place in Uganda to see Rhinos in the wild. We shall track Rhinos and after you we will proceed to Jinja town.Dinner and overnight at Sunset lodge( Budget)/ Kingfsher lodge(Mid-range) Jinja Nile resort or Crane Hotel ( Luxury)

Have breakfast and then head for a boat launch to the source of the Nile where the mighty Nile starts it’s long journey northwards. Other activities to opt for are; the adrenalin white water rafting, bunjee jumping and horse back riding along the banks of the nile. Later have lunch in Jinja town as we proceed back to Kampala and the guide will either drop you at the airport for your departure flight or at the hotel for your stay depending on your departure time.

Very nice company,been with them to bwindi for gorrira tracking experience and queen Elizabeth national Park ,always updated ,willing to help where necessary.

Some one shouldn't miss using voyage Africa Eco Expeditions uganda I got them on Facebook but they are most reliable ,and have excellent communication
